I’m in. It will be a challenge! Recovering from oral surgery, on antibiotics, etc. - lots of shakes!
So far today, water, water, water - a given for me. Kefir/whey/mango shake with fiber and good stuff in it. Almond flour biscuit (high protein, great) with butter (big vice). Papaya. Thinking a green shake now. Organic as much as possible.
And I love to knit. Especially on planes. But I am not very good - more into the process than the end result!
Hey Tara,
Love your videos. I’m feeling so much better physically and mentally!
Seriously, your hat is amazing. It looks so warm!
Tara, this is brilliant, ‘Conscious Eating’..YES! something that is vital & important to Health & wellbeing. How easy it is to get caught up & ‘busy’ and forget our precious bodies.
I’m in for the seven days..
Today, so far…I have had, water & lemon juice, herbal tea, breakfast all organic - oats, banana, blueberries, almond cream (blended almonds & water). Then afternoon a green smoothy - celery, kale, cucumber, parley, avocado, flax oil, hemp protein powder, bee pollen, vitamin C & immune booster. Then…water, water..Herbal Tea. Dinner - who knows..maybe Rice & Vegetable dal..feeling like something warm & nourishing.
Thats me for today..will tune back in tomorrow..

Hi Tara! Being new to Yoga this week, both you and yoga are a HUGE revelation! I think your 7 day health challenge is awesome! I actually thought twice this morning and opted for my cleanse tea instead of coffee and believe I will be giving cheese a miss from now on … Yesterday I had greek yogurt with linseed, goji berries, mixed seeds. Sardines with lambs lettuce, grilled pepper and avocado. Supper was grilled salmon and spinach with pine nuts. Thanks for the inspiration! I think you are fantastic!
Tara, what a fabulous idea!
I’ve been writing about food on my blog anyway but I’ll link back to this page in tonight’s post. For all things consumed (and pictures!) click on my name. (I’m just too lazy to type everything down. Bad, I know! ;))
[...] fabulous Tara Stiles is doing a 7 Day Health Challenge, come and join the party! For the challenge I’m going to write down every single thing that I eat [...]
DAY 2 - 7 Day Health Challenge..
So here is my Day two..
I’m really working with moving to more of a Raw diet & alkaline based.
Water, Echinacea herbal Tea ..more water
Breakfast - green smoothy - celery, kale, cucumber, parley, avocado, flax oil, hemp protein powder, raw egg, bee pollen, vitamin C & immune booster. (all organic)
Throat Coat Herbal Tea & more water
Lunch/afternoon - oats, banana, blueberries, almond cream (blended almonds & water) - all organic
Water, Herbal Tea
Dinner - Kale salad (Kale, Olive Oil, Sea Salt) then added some mixed greens, tomato & sprinkle of flax oil. The on top Avocado & hummus.
Off now to enjoy dinner - a little later than I like..but I find when getting into healthy & new rhythms its all about one step at a time..each step making a difference!
Thanks again Tara for doing this..
Blessings to ALL!
OMG you guys are totally amazing and super healthy eaters! I am completely impressed. I’ll report my munching to you guys in the am. Thanks again for being so awesome and I love hearing all the awesome food you guys prepare for yourselves. I wish we could have a healthy pot luck meet up!
big hug.
talk soon,
Tara
p.s. thanks about the hat I’m totally a beginner! This yarn is very forgiving and fun to play with. plus the videos on the woolandthegang.com website are fun and make learning how to do the stitches a lot eaiser. it’s very meditative
Hey Tara, firstly just like to say that your videos are awesome and are a great motivation tool. My doctor actually suggested I try yoga as last year I was plagued by illness mainly brought on by stress. So this year I aim to balance out my hectic life and maintain a healthy lifestyle which in turn will help deal with stress.
Anyway I am in and here is my Day 1:
Breakfast: was a high-fibre bran cereal with fresh blueberries and low fat milk
Then coffee (this is my vice too :D) and a couple of dates
Lunch: Salad sandwich (lettuce, tomato, carrot, cucumber, beetroot) on brown bread
then some plain low-fat yoghurt and a cup of green tea in the mid-afternoon.
Dinner: Ok it was my boyfriend and I’s anniversary so we went out to celebrate at a Thai restaurant and I had prawn panang curry with capsicum, snow peas, broccoli, green beans and rice plus a glass of champagne and a few chocolates. So probably wasn’t the best way to end the day…oh well at least its day 1
Its Day 3 - 7 Day Health Challenge..
Tara, I wish I could send you this in a video…not possible this week, but maybe for the next challenge !!! and I promise I have been telling the Truth!!
Really working on creating a food plan that supports my health, clarity & radiance!
So here is me for today..
Breakfast & lunch the same as yesterday.
- sometimes breakfast just seems the best meal all day
Dinner - hmm looks like it is 1/2 a baked potato, a kale & green salad, plus potentially 1/2 a organic buffalo burger (My partner just came home with one to share & I have been told by my nutritionist to include a small amount of organic good quality red meat in my diet…so we will see how that goes. (not eaten red meat since I was a teenager)
Then I think he may have gotten us a little organic treat for after dinner from our wonderful local co-op - Spelt banana bread (organic & agave sweetened)

I think this is an awesome idea. I have been avoiding my new year’s resolution of healthier eating, but a 7 day challenge seems extremely do-able, which, once accomplished, will inspire even more!
Will reply with results!
Ps. loveee your twitter quotes. you and the daily love truly inspire me every day. thank you. and p.p.s. your hat is excellent!
Its Day 4 - 7 Day Health Challenge..
Today was focused on a Benefit Concert for Haiti (tonight), in which I offered prayer, intention & Conscious Breathwork…A Truly profound evening.
So was a little out of flow with my food today.
Missed breakfast, something I really try to avoid doing..
Lunch - Oats, banana, blueberries, almond cream (blended almonds & water) - all organic
Dinner - Salad (greens, tomato & celery) with boiled egg & flax oil - all organic
I feel like I could have been drinking more water today..
Home from the event..its late but I thinking perhaps a late night snack, as a treat..perhaps a slice of spelt bread toast & raw organic goats cheese & avocado.. and some hot throat coat tea..Enjoying water with some lemon juice right now.
and thats me for today..
Blessings to ALL!

I’m in a love/hate relationship with digital memory because of how prices are always falling. I absolutely hate buying SDs for my R4 / R4i at (what seems to be) a cheap price only to see it become ten percent cheaper a few months later.(Posted on PostNet for R4i Nintendo DS.)
